TURN YOUR FUCKING LIGHTS ON WHEN IT IS RAINING…OR WHEN IT IS DARK!!

The above also includes Pinellas County Sheriff’s deputies, Largo cops, St. Pete cops, and any other lazy people who cannot take 1/2 of A FUCKING SECOND to turn on your lights.

I swear, you people are the laziest fucks ever.

I could go on and on, but I’m so fucking pissed right now I can’t see straight.

Hey Slow Drivers, The Speed Limit is 45 mph

The following story is about an out of state driver I witnessed earlier tonight that obviously cannot read.

We had passed 2 signs that clearly stated the speed limit was 45 mph. Hell, they were at least 600 yards behind us. No matter, this person insisted on driving 30 miles an hour in the left lane. Impeding the flow of traffic is against the law. Someone I know in another state was pulled over for it, and this person was only 5 mph under the limit.

Ok, I have to admit it. I also broke the law. I passed this person on the right. I’m not supposed to do that. Fine.

I was only doing 40, in a 45 zone. Hey, I just want to drive the speed limit, or close to it.

Instructions All Drivers Should Follow

Stay in the right lane if you want to do under the speed limit. At the same time, do not block others who need to turn right.

If you INSIST on driving 10-15 mph under the posted speed limit all of the time, please look up your local bus line and use them. First, you will save yourself money. A full day pass here is 4 bucks a day. Second, you will be doing us all, and yourself, a favor. A person scared of driving is not a good thing.

I drive because I must. I have no problem taking a bus, and I have when my car was broken down.

I’m not scared of driving by any means, it is the other drivers around me that scare me. Especially when there is a Classic Florida Thunderstorm.

What is the reason for driving 30 mph or higher in a parking lot?

Use your damn turn signals and lights, and slow drivers stay in the right lane.

Once again, when it is raining and you are using your windshield wipers, it is the law in the State of Florida that you turn your friggin’ headlights on and use your turn signals!

Here are the rules

When lighted lamps are required.

(1)

Every vehicle operated upon a highway within this state shall display lighted lamps and illuminating devices as herein respectively required for different classes of vehicles, subject to exceptions with respect to parked vehicles, under the following conditions;

(a)

At any time from sunset to sunrise including the twilight hours. Twilight hours shall mean the time between sunset and full night or between full night and sunrise.

(b)

During any rain, smoke, or fog.

(c)

Stop lights, turn signals, and other signaling devices shall be lighted as prescribed for use of such devices.

(2)

Whenever requirement is hereinafter declared as to the distance from which certain lamps and devices shall render objects visible, said provisions shall apply during the times stated in subsection (1) in respect to a vehicle without load when upon a straight, level, unlighted highway under normal atmospheric conditions, unless a different time or condition is expressly stated.

(3)

Whenever requirement is hereinafter declared as to the mounted height of lamps or devices, it shall mean from the center of such lamp or device to the level ground upon which the vehicle stands when the vehicle is without a load.

(4)

Law enforcement vehicles may be operated without the display of lighted lamps required by this chapter under the following conditions:

(a)

Operation without the display of lighted lamps is necessary to the performance of a law enforcement officer’s duties.

(b)

The law enforcement agency has a written policy authorizing and providing guidelines for vehicle operation without the display of lighted lamps.

(c)

The law enforcement vehicle is operated in compliance with agency policy.

(d)

The operation without the display of lighted lamps may be safely accomplished.

The provisions of this subsection shall not relieve the operator of such a vehicle from the duty to drive with due regard for the safety of all persons, nor shall such provisions protect the vehicle operator from the consequences of his or her reckless disregard for the safety of others.

(5)

A violation of this section is a noncriminal traffic infraction, punishable as a moving violation as provided in chapter 318.

Headlamps on motor vehicles.

(1)

Every motor vehicle shall be equipped with at least two headlamps with at least one on each side of the front of the motor vehicle, which headlamps shall comply with the requirements and limitations set forth in this chapter, and shall show a white light. An object, material, or covering that alters the headlamp’s light color may not be placed, displayed, installed, affixed, or applied over a headlamp.

(2)

Every headlamp upon every motor vehicle shall be located at a height of not more than 54 inches nor less than 24 inches to be measured as set forth in s. 316.217.

(3)

A violation of this section is a noncriminal traffic infraction, punishable as a nonmoving violation as provided in chapter 318.

My Lights Work

Hey, I drive a 1990 money pit. Even though this car is 20 friggin’ years old, it takes a second or so to turn on my lights. Seeing how there are multitude of newer cars around here, with today’s technology, it seems to me that it would now take 1/2 of a second to do the same thing.

IMHO, this is the #2 easiest thing in the world to do, right behind walking and chewing gum at the same time. #3 is using your turn signal.

Some people cannot, or refuse to, master the final two.

I’ve been around almost 43 years, and very little amazes me. These 2 are in the 1% of things that do.

The Idiots Were Out Today

I only drove for about 30 minutes today. Well, that was plenty enough time to see numerous douches not use their turn signals, being 20 feet behind the car in front of them at a red light, and turning left even though there are 2 signs that looks just like this:

I see at least 10 people a week ignore this sign.

Yesterday, on the 7th, I was going through the intersection where the no left turn intersection is. There is not one, but 2, no left turn signs within an infield pop-up of each other. Yet, this douche just had to turn left and damn near hit someone legally making a left turn at the intersection.

I wear glasses, and I cannot see crap without them. I can even see these signs.

WTF are people thinking?

Too bad I don’t have video in my car.

Driving today, I saw another douche ignore the 2 no left turn signs. I was making a legal right hand turn, and he made the turn a few seconds after I passed him.

Hey People, a Red Turn Arrow Means Stop

I was out driving with The Passenger today, and wouldn’t you know, some douche has to turn left on a red turn arrow.

This dude is either blind or doesn’t give a crap, which means I’d rather not be driving near that douche in either case. There are plenty of others who do the same damn thing.

Drivers around here suck. I know they suck everywhere, but they suck 50% more here.

Move Up!

Oh yea, move the hell up when stopped at a red light. You people who stop 10 or more feet behind the car in front are blocking the turn lanes. I’m tired of missing the left turn light because you people do crap like this. Move up!
